The difference between metric loom and British loom generally lies in the outer diameter of the shaft. The inner hole diameter of metric shuttle rotor disc F8 is 42mm, and the inner hole diameter of shuttle disc used by British loom is 40.5mm, and the width of keyway used is 9.5mm.
